    Hello All GDS Retiree,

    I just want to inform you that on your retirement department had paid you the Gratuity amount as per their GDS (Conduct and Service ), Rules 2001 which was earlier 18000/- now enhanced to Rs.30,000/- whereas, you are entitled to the Gratuity amount as per Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972 and it would be calculated as per the formula given below:-

    Last Pay Drawn(Basic + D.A.) X 15 X Number of service years till retirement Divided by 26, and this amount would be about double of the amount you are already got.
    there are many judgments of High Court and this is upheld upto Supreme Court, I am taking such cases and you can consult me at advravinder@gmail.com or at 09815700280, I am at Chandigarh and the claim for Five states i.e. Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal and Jammu/Kashmir can be filed at Chandigarh.

    After putting in more than 40 years of service in the department and after retirement as SSPOs (in STS of IPoS Group "A") from Mandi Division (HP), I have settled at Ludhiana as I basically belong to Adampur in Jalandhar District.
